What is MultiWall?

MultiWall is a free windows desktop application that is designed for setting desktop wallpaper on any computer setup, especially those with more than one monitor.
This is providing what windows should have had a long time ago; it will make setting your wallpaper incredibly simple and easy.

Whats the problem?

Theres plenty!

• Windows doesnt handle wallpaper well in general.
• Multi-screen users have been left in the dark.
• Ordinarily there are no features like pan/crop/zoom/bezel adjust, even with apps like ultramon and desktop-fusion
• Users need to make backups of files and use photoshop to edit images just to look right.
• Good wallpaper is hard to find, and hi-res wallpaper is even harder.

What does MultiWall do?

MultiWall in a simple sense, will take any image, and set it as your wallpaper - correctly.

• It is dead simple to make adjustments to your wallpaper, and there are heaps of options.
• You can stick with your original high resolution wallpapers.
• It will take care of your multi-screen setup in any arrangement - and all of the adjustments will be compatible.
• You have access to span your wallpaper, or to set each screen with a seperate or individual wallpaper.
• Multiwall will even play nice with transperant png's throughout any processing.

The Multi-monitor Background Wallpaper feature lets you overcome Windows inherent limitationsfor desktop background picture in a multiple display environment. By default, Windowsclones its 'Desktop' settings from the 'Display Properties' dialogonto each monitor identically, i.e. displays the same background color and picture on allmonitors without distinguishing them or considering their relative layout. So, even if youspecify the picture large enough to cover the entire composite desktop - you will neverthelesssee only the left-top part of that picture on each monitor. Also, there's no possibilityto configure separate background settings for different displays.

Multi-monitor Background Wallpaper brings on the missing features whencustomizing the multi-monitor desktop background:you can either stretch a single background picture over the entire composite desktopor specify individual background pictures on each display forming the desktop. In addition,you can turn on the advanced slideshow modethat will flip pictures from various sources on the background (including Google Image Search and Flickr).

Hint Stretching a single picture better suits for nearly placed monitorsaligned horizontally or vertically, inspiring the continuality and uniformness of all availablescreen space, which can significantly improve the overall look-and-feel of your desktop.Specifying individual settings for different monitors is recommended when you use each monitorfor a separate purpose: different backgrounds will help you to instantly distinguish suchmonitors visually.

Multi-monitor Wallpaper Slideshow

In the advanced slideshow mode, Actual Multiple Monitors will flip pictures from various sources on the background. As for the static mode, you can either run the single slideshow on the entire desktop or setup separate slideshows on each display.
